DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Conservation Commission (a SuAsCo CISMA host organiz
 ation) is hosting an invasive plant removal volunteer event on Saturday\, 
 July 13\, 9:30am-11:30am in Danforth Falls Conservation Land in Hudson\, M

 lls Trailhead on Lincoln St at 9:30am.We will be focusing on removing Japa
 nese barberry and burning bush from a heavily infested area in the lowland
 s of the conservation land\, adjacent to where we’ve already made signif
 icant progress removing these invasive plants this season.\n\nSince we wil
 l be removing thorny Japanese barberry\, please bring thick gloves (we wil
 l have some extra pairs for those who need them).\n\nMany of the plants we
  are removing are large and well-established\, and a shovel can help get t
 hem up\, and clippers can help clear branches enough to get at the roots. 
 We have several shovels and pairs of clippers for volunteers to use\, but 
 if any volunteers are able to bring their own that’s appreciated too\, s
 ince it helps us to have more equipment to go around.\n\nCome prepared for
  active work in the woods. We encourage:\n\n 	Water\n 	Closed toed shoes\n
  	Long sleeves/pants\n 	Eye protection (for the thorns)\n 	Bug spray\n\nCo
