DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Conservation Commission (a SuAsCo CISMA host organiz
 ation) is hosting an invasive plant removal volunteer event on Saturday\, 
 August 17\, 9:30am-11:30am in Danforth Falls Conservation Land in Hudson\,
  MA.\n\nWe will meet at the Danforth Falls Trailhead on Lincoln St at 9:30

 s with planning and enables us to contact you in the event of a change of 
 plans or cancellation\, but if you’re not able to register you’re stil
 l welcome to attend.\n\nWe will be focusing on removing Japanese barberry 
 and burning bush\, building on the progress we've made removing these spec
 ies throughout the season.\n\nSince we will be removing thorny Japanese ba
 rberry\, please bring thick gloves (we will have some extra pairs for thos
 e who need them).\n\nMany of the plants we are removing are large and well
 -established\, and a shovel can help get them up\, and clippers can help c
 lear branches enough to get at the roots. We have several shovels and pair
 s of clippers for volunteers to use\, but if any volunteers are able to br
 ing their own that’s appreciated too\, since it helps us to have more eq
 uipment to go around.\n\nCome prepared for active work in the woods. We en
