  link above\n\n\nWe will meet in the field at Ferguson Land. Park along th
 e shoulder off of Garfield Road.\n\nWe will focus on removing buckthorn\, 
 multiflora rose\, honeysuckle\, and bittersweet from an area that was trea
 ted in previous years. Specimens in the field are small and we will manual
 ly pull plants or use hand tools as needed. The plant material will be sta
 cked in brush piles and managed to prevent re-establishment.\n\nParts of t
 he field will be shaded but expect sun exposure. Poison ivy will be presen
 t in some work areas and can be avoided in other areas.\n\nWhat to Bring t
 o a Workday\n* Water\n* Insect/tick repellant\n* Sun protection (hat and/o
 r lotion)\n* **Closed toed shoes (required)**\n* Long sleeves/pants\n* Glo
 ves (we have a few extra pairs)\n* Eye protection\nThe Land Trust will hav
 e tools available to share. Participants are encouraged to bring their own
  tools as well. Most commonly used tools include loppers\, spade shovel\, 
 root slayer\, mini pick mattock\, and hand-held weed pulling tools.
