DESCRIPTION:What’s all the fuss? Botanists\, ecologists\, hor-ticulturist
 s\, and conservation professionals are united in their concern about invas
 ive plants\, but there is still some confusion about what they are and wha
 t to do about them. In this class\, you will study the basic ecological pr
 oblems created by these aggressive species and the complicated issues invo
 lved in controlling them.You will learn to identify many of New England’
 s invasive species through images\, specimens\, and a local field visit. B
