 p to restore the beautiful Smith Conservation Land. This activity is part 
 of a long-term project to restore the natural habitat. Weed warrior volunt
 eers will be pulling bittersweet and removing the root systems using a “
 root extraction” method. SVT will provide hand tools. This work involves
  kneeling and digging for extended periods of time. Register here.\n*Poiso
 n ivy is present at this site. Volunteers should wear long pants and long 
 sleeves and work gloves. SVT can provide non-latex gloves that can also pr
 ovide protection against poison ivy.
