Thank you for signing up to volunteer for the August 2025 Ice House Pond Water Chestnut Pull!
Please sign up for the timeslot you are available and decide if you would like to work primarily on the land please select “Land-based Volunteer”. If you would like to work primarily on the water please select “Water-based Volunteer”. You will be emailed additional details prior to your sign up date.
Paddle Boston will provide up to 12 canoes! We encourage you to bring your own kayak or canoe! Life jackets are required for those in boats!

Please remember to bring the following:
- Bring water & extra water (stay hydrated!)
- Wear appropriate clothes (these clothes will be permanetly dirty!)
- Wear appropriate shoes i.e water shoes/old sneakers
- Bring a hat (reduce heat exhaustion as best as possible!)
- Bring/wear sunscreen and bug spray!
- Wavier (if you forgot, we will have extra on site!)
