Concord Land Conservation Trust has been working to remove invasive water chestnut from the Sudbury River for over 20 years.By this time last year, we had pulled 520 bushels downstream vs 120 this year. We are 400 bushels behind last summer. Have a few hours? Make a splash and help us clear the river and surpass last year’s bushel count by August. With your help, we can restore the habitat and make the river a better place for recreation.
As a thank you, we’ll provide refreshment and a free native plant.
