LOCATION: Smith Conservation Land, Littleton and Harvard

Volunteers will be uprooting five different species of invasive plants, which we affectionately refer to as the “Fab 5 Forbs.” These include garlic mustard, narrow-leaved bittercress, Dame’s rocket, greater celandine and wall lettuce. Qualifications: Any weed warriors who have attended at least one in-person training session. We will be providing training on identification for the specific plants for this work session. Register here.
*Poison ivy is present at this site. Volunteers should wear long pants and long sleeves and work gloves. SVT can provide non-latex gloves that can also provide protection against poison ivy.
