LEADER: Laura Mattei, Director of Stewardship
Help to restore the beautiful Smith Conservation Land. We will be hand pulling several different invasive plants: garlic mustard, narrow-leaved bittercress, Dame’s rocket, greater celandine and wall lettuce. This activity is part of a long-term project to restore the natural habitat. Register here.
*Poison ivy is present at this site. Volunteers should wear long pants and long sleeves and work gloves. SVT can provide non-latex gloves that can also provide protection against poison ivy.
Children 11 years old to 15 years old are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
